Before you write
What to include in your enquiry
The more of this you can tell us at the outset, the more accurate the proposal will be.
Scope and location
What the works involve, where the site is, and whether the environment is live, occupied or operationally critical.
Programme dates
Start on site, duration and any fixed milestones. This determines the pattern of attendance and therefore the fee.
Client requirements
Any standard imposed by your client above the statutory minimum, and any framework or pre-qualification requirement we should be aware of.
What already exists
Existing policies, plans, assessments or systems. It is usually cheaper to review and correct than to start again.
The deadline
Whether this is a tender return, a mobilisation date or a response to something that has already happened.
