Our commitment
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including those using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification or high-contrast settings.
What has been done
- Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order
- A skip link allowing keyboard users to bypass the navigation
- Visible focus outlines on all interactive elements
- Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px width
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG 2.1 AA for body text and interface elements
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images marked as such
- Form fields with associated labels and a keyboard-operable navigation menu
Known limitations
- The enquiry form is not yet connected to a back end; submissions currently display an on-page notice directing you to email or telephone instead
- Photographic content is illustrative and its alternative text will be refined as final imagery is supplied
- The site has not yet been subject to a formal third-party accessibility audit
